We can’t help but notice that the past couple of days have had a slight chill in the evening. Fall is that you? We’re not quite done with summer yet. It is a good time to take in the dusk evenings from now until the leaves turn. Is your outdoor oasis in tip-top form for some quality family and friend time around the table or fire? There are some awesome examples of outdoor tile setups, from fireplaces to specialty ovens and beautiful little sitting areas.
Why Should I Consider Outdoor Tile?
Aside from adding value to your home (monetarily and aesthetically), outdoor tile adds dimension to a yard. Creating a space where you can enjoy nature and the outdoors is important. Who doesn’t want an area where they can grill dinner, sit al fresco, and enjoy the company of friends and loved ones?
What projects include outdoor tile?
From cooking areas to fire pits, pools, spas and more benefit from the look of outdoor stone or tile. We’ve added some to our Houzz profile, which you can visit here. Really, the imagination is the limit.
What are some things to consider, if I’m considering…
Where are you planning on having this tile or stone installed? If it is close to a pool or spa, we suggest something with texture. This will help keep spill and falls to a minimum. Decorative tile looks beautiful, just make sure it is heat-friendly when adding it to a fire-pit area or open oven. Tile professionals should be able to steer you in the right direction. (You can always give us a call and ask us too!) Are you installing the tile or hiring someone to do so? Do your research, understand costs, materials, and other things that are associated with your project. That reminds us. How big is the project? List out everything you’ll want to address before you break ground. It saves you a large headache! It will also save you time, and money.
