The ABK Soleras collection is a highly-requested line from our showroom, and even those who hadn’t considered it as an option find themselves deciding which color of this line they like best. Inspired by aged wood, it is the epitome of style with the benefits of long-lasting tile.
ABK’s inspiration is deeper than just “aged-wood”. Its very influence is specifically of aged wood found in wine barrels, with rich colors and the highlight of coloration amongst the wood grain as it soaked in the natural tones of the wine it held. This is what makes this line so beautiful – it’s rich warmth – yet ability to withstand high-traffic without showing the wear and tear of wood. From modern to rustic, it is a top choice.
A range of colors is available, from lighter warmer wood-look to a darker, gray, more rustic and aged look.
These colors include Naturale, Beige, Avana, Bianco, Grigio, and Antracite.
The Soleras line is created from porcelain tile made from finer, more dense clay and fired at a higher temperature than ceramic tile. Tougher, resilient to stains and scratches, and highly durable means it stands up to heavy foot traffic.
Wood-look tile is popular for so many reasons – aesthetically it allows you to bring a touch of nature into your home, and from a composition standpoint, you are able to have the cleaning ability and durability that wood cannot hold up to. It is not only largely popular but makes sense when you are trying to heighten home value or ensure a long life to your home’s interior.
